Gary's Mama Pearl's closed after lease dispute with city

The city has told them to vacant the site, at 411 E. 5th Ave. across from The Steel Yard baseball stadium. The couple has spent the past few weeks packing up and considering their future.

Gary's Mama Pearl's closed after lease dispute with city
Mama Pearl's BBQ, a downtown Gary restaurant, has closed after failing to reach a lease agreement with the city that owns the federally-built building.
