Aurora crash causes diesel fuel leak into Fox River

Water and sewer employees pinpointed where the fuel was going into the river, on the 400 block of South River Street, where the fire department's hazardous material team then responded and limited it spreading, according to the news release.

    A passenger car and tractor-trailer collided Tuesday morning on Aurora's West Side, with the truck leaking dozens of gallons of diesel fuel into the Fox River, according to the Aurora Fire Department. The spill did not affect drinking water and poses no danger to the public, according to a news release from the fire department.
