    HAMMOND, Ind. - Charges were announced Thursday in last month's explosion at a U.S. Post Office in Indiana. Eric Krieg, 45, of Munster, who sought local elected office, was arrested for the explosion that injured a female postal worker. The pipe bomb went off September 6 and around 5:30 p.m.

Amita Health announced Friday that it will open an Immediate Care and Outpatient Center Monday, Oct. 23, in the eastern portion of the building at 630 E. North Ave.

Two brothers charged after Aurora man dies following birthday party fight

Erick Mendez, of the 700 block of East Benton Street, died at a suburban hospital later that night, according to the Aurora Police Department. Court records show he turned 36 on Saturday.
