Le Pain Quotidien opens, Savory Spice shop closes in downtown Naperville

Senior Helpers-Naperville, an in-home senior care provider at 633 E. Ogden Ave. opened April 10. The company offers personal care and companion services, including staff trained in Alzheimer’s, dementia and Parkinson’s care for people living independently, according to the company’s website.

4 Wheel Parts, a truck & Jeep accessory expert shop, opened earlier this month at 1300 W. Ogden Ave. The company has a second Illinois location in South Elgin.

Elly’s Pancake House at 2656 Showplace Drive in the Naperville Crossings plaza closed earlier this year. The restaurant originally opened in 2016. It is unclear why the restaurant closed. A sign posted on the front door reads, “Sorry, we are closed. But we are coming soon with a new concept!”

5 Joel Avery Williams, 31, of the 5400 block of East Walnut Place, Downers Grove, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and being a pedestrian under the influence at 12:41 a.m. March 18 in the 900 block of North Sleight Street.

1 Anthony A. Candler, 20, of 1S154 Radford Lane, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding 26 to 35 mph over the posted limit at 9:41 p.m. March 19 in the 1700 block of West Jefferson Avenue.

4 Dylan Arthur Howard, 23, of the 3000 block of West George Street, Chicago, was arrested on charges of DUI, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding at 12:04 a.m. March 18 at North Washington Street and East 11th Avenue.

8 Charlie Adakov Najmark, 20, of the 2600 block of Ridge Road, Aurora, was arrested on a charge of retail theft at 3:45 p.m. March 18 in the 1900 block of West Jefferson Avenue.
