C. Jay Buikema, former Ace Hardware chain owner, dead at 78

In the 1970s, the family moved the hardware store from downtown Naperville to 1030 N. Washington St. and opened several stores in Wheaton and Montgomery. They opened another store in South Naperville in 1985.

2 men charged in armed robbery of Naperville teen
