Key Found Hoyne/Dickens

I happened upon a lost key by the first tree north of Dickens, west of Hoyne. I left it visible on the tree root. It had ice on it so it was probably dropped awhile ago, maybe last night. It was difficult to see making it easy to miss if someone backtracked for it. Hopefully whoever lost this didn't get locked out in the cold.

How the 20% Pass-Through Income Deduction may Affect You

The new tax bill has many trying to understand how the 20% deduction applies to pass-through income and whether it affects them. Before making any changes to become a sole proprietor, understand the deduction and speak to a tax professional to determine if it can be beneficial to you.

https://illinoisestateplanning.blogspot.com/2017/12/the-new-20-deduction-on-pass-through.html

The New 20% Deduction on Pass-Through income, What is It? And does it affect you?
There are many intricacies of the new Tax Act that will be discussed and analyzed over the coming weeks and months. While some of the changes will allow for a tax reduction for "pass-through" entities, the complexities of the tax bill should be discussed with your tax advisor to make sure you understand how it affects you before you make any significant financial or employment changes.
    http://illinoisestateplanning.blogspot.com
  • Is the 20% credit on pass throughs a permanent deduction or does it expire at some point?

  • It is currently set to expire with the individual tax rates after 2025. Although the entire tax bill can be changed with the passage of any new laws.

  • Thanks Bryan! It was also helpfull to know that it is a "below the line" after AGI deduction... I assume a new line on page 2. I looked everywhere for that info and it was/is hard to come by. I even tried reading the bill, but it was like trying to read mandarin, or maybe klingon!
