In need of a plumber referral

Hello, I just moved into the neighborhood and have a "sweating" wall. Looks like some condensation coming in from outside, however there are no pipes visible where this leak is. Landlady has no idea about a good plumber to call, so I'm trying to expedite myself. Any suggestions, good and bad are welcome. Thanks! Naranjito + K8

Nuisance parking tickets

My car has been ticketed twice within the past month for parking on the street in the "wrong direction or 12" from the curb." Both were for being a few inches more than 1 foot from the curb - once so the car doors can open where the curb is very high, and the other to avoid overgrown parkway shrubs. These $25 tickets are issued in the middle of the night. This seems like overzealous ticketing for the money without any public benefit. I'm appealing the ticket now. Anyone else have an uptick in these ridiculous tickets?

  • Rauner College Prep reviewed by a student

This school is not worth it. 1st this school is really broke. This school couldnt afford to buy tissue paper so they give us paper toilet out of the bathroom. Our lunches are very disgusting. They once gave students rotten milk and many students were sick.

Rauner College Prep (1337 W. Ohio St. ) Published on GreatSchools May 24, 2018
  • No one should have to bring their own toilet paper to school. How ridiculous do you sound?

  • @marsha j outly Please re-read the original post. The poster was NOT talking about bringing toilet paper. The poster was talking about Kleenex. The school doesn't have Kleenex so they give the students toilet paper. I don't think the school should be responsible for supplying students with Kleenex. Those who need it should have their parents put it in their backpack.
