Milly Santiago Must Go

The 31st Ward can do better! She does nothing for her constituents. No service. No response. She only goes to parties, collects a paycheck, and whines about not getting enough perks! Need a qualified candidate to run against Milly in the 2019 election. Is that you?

35th Ward Residents...Vote on how to spend $1million

Early voting for our 2018 cycle of participatory budgeting begins October 16! Review the projects and voting locations at: http://www.aldermancarlosrosa.org/pb

Participatory budgeting allows you to decide how to spend $1 million in ward infrastructure improvements!

Participatory Budgeting in the 35th Ward
First, we collected hundreds of ward infrastructure ideas from you and your neighbors. Then, our Participatory Budgeting Leadership Committee volunteers workshopped those ideas down to 21 infrastructure projects in three categories: alleys/curbs, pedestrian/traffic safety, and lighting. Now, it's time for you to vote on how you'd spend $1 million to improve our Ward's infrastructure for our 2017 cycle of participatory budgeting.

Why not used books? I read used books throughout my academic life. You could also tie in an environmental lesson about reusing and recycling. Or perhaps you could tie in an economic lesson and teach the value of used or borrowing and how using a public library could save lots of money.

Looking to get my Hardwood floors redone

Does anyone have any recommendations for a hardwood flooring guy/company within reasonable price ? I've gotten a couple estimates from larger companies but the price is obviously LARGER than the budget allows.
Thank you in advance!

  • Looking for this too. Did you get anywhere Lady Lesly?

Did she have a collar with tags on? Microchipped? Check on lostdogsillinois.org and to to Animal Care and Control (27th and Western) to see if the pound picked her up. They only hold strays for like 3 days, so you have to go asap. After that, anything could happen to her there. Also hang flyers all around the area. So sorry, hope you find her.
