We heard gun fire near Kimball and Montrose. I believe someone was shot on the 4400 block of N. Bernard. Does anyone have any details about this incident?

Moving to Albany Park from Rogers Park next week and need to get internet setup. What Internet Service Providers do you use? I currently have RCN and am sad that it is not available in my new area. I've already checked with AT&T and they can only provide 10MBPS. I need at least 50MBPS. Thank you.

I have a neighbor who has hung not 1 but 2 bird feeders approx 1 foot from my property line. The mess in my yard and patio is not just bad but seriously bad (and unhealthy). I really don't care if they want to feed the birds but I asked them to move them more into the middle of their yard to prevent the mess in my yard...I told them that I am tired cleaning the mess in my yard...

I really don't care if they want to feed the birds but I asked them to move them more into the middle of their yard to prevent the mess in my yard...I told them that I am tired cleaning the mess in my yard and this mess is not only unhealthy but it has been attracting the rats and now pigeons (and they laughed at me). I have asked them 3x now and in my book that's more than a fair chance to rectify the situation.
Is there any sort of code that determines how close a neighbor can put anything near my property line? Do I have any Recourse?

I have a neighbor who built and installed an awning constructed out of wood and plexiglass over his side door leading into the basement. It extends out all the way to my fence line and my entrance doors into my residence are adjacent. Needless to say I catch all the water and snow at my doors now. There has to be a code regulating how far an awning can extend out on the side of house...along with what materials are considered safe. Am I wrong?

Does anyone know who delivers these ads with Aldi, Shop and Save, Butera etc ads every week. Sometimes I do not receive delivery and I am looking to pick one up if I can.
Thanks in advance!

My nanny of 2 years will be available starting in June. I am the mother of 5 and a former educator with high standards. Our nanny is wonderful. She also helps with light housekeeping. Her primary language is Spanish, but she communicates well using Google Translate. My youngest son is bilingual because of his fantastic nanny. In the 2 years she has worked for me she missed only 2 days of work do to illness. She is extremely reliable, trust worthy, punctual, loving and patient. I am happy to introduce her to a new family.
There was a '85 Toyota 4 Runner with MI plates and a for sale sign in the window parked on Francisco just south of Wilson. Even though it was there for a few days we procrastinated and did not call. The phone number on the sign had a (312) area code. We would love to talk with the owner if it is still for sale.
