Two shot early Sunday in South Side shootings

Around 6 a.m. a 31-year-old man was shot while sitting in a vehicle in the 4900 block of South Kimbark Avenue in the Kenwood neighborhood. The man was shot several times and later crashed the vehicle in the 5600 block of South Lake Park Avenue in Hyde Park, officials said.

About 5 a.m. a man, 25, was found in the 8700 block of South Morgan Street in Gresham with several gunshot wounds.The man had been shot in the leg and stomach, police said.

Has seen cars broken into every 3 days. My fiance contacted the Alderman and Police. His car was one of those. We have observed this since November but its been going on much longer than that. I have pictures up on NextDoor. The heavy snow storm blocked most of the driver seeing the glass. Then sometime last week somebody swept away some of the glass. Its a mystery.

    Yep. also my former Kenwood alderman Tim Evans shares much of the blame. These two are practicing catch and release of basically all criminals short of murder and even with murder the conviction rate is ~ 12%. Chicago's punks, criminals are literally getting away with murder!
