It happened about 3:30 p.m. as students were getting out of classes at the school, 3000 S. King Drive, officials said.

    CHICAGO - A police officer was injured when a large fight broke out Wednesday afternoon at a high school on the South Side. The fight broke out at Dunbar Vocational Career Academy at 30th and South King Drive around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The officer sustained a leg injury and was taken to Northwestern Hospital.

Several police cars responded to the school around 3:30 p.m. in the 3000 block of King Drive. They cleared the scene around 4:15 p.m.

    CHICAGO (CBS) - A large fight between adults and students broke out at Dunbar High School on Wednesday, leaving one police officer and a female student slightly injured.
