Ignore these scam artists!

I'm sure a lot of you here have had somebody knock on your door from Direct Energy or some other utility 'representative'. I'm tired of these guys knocking on my door and asking to see a copy of my utility bill. They are a scam company and a quick google search will show you that. I snapped a photo of this clowns ID so you can know NOT to speak to him when he knocks on your door. I hate to do it but I might have put up a 'No Soliciting' sign on my door since these guys seem to show up once every month or two.

calling 311 for what? What do you want them to do actually.. or 911 for that matter. Not an emergency that some creep is at your door pitching his energy nonsense. Don't answer the door or if you do just say NO thank you and close the door. They become aggressive, like the idiot I had at my door....I called my dog.....but calling 311 really? not ike they are gonna come chase them away for yeah....

  • Okay - I get it. Calling 311 or 911 would not be appropriate. Thank you.

Shots fired in Bridgeport last night

Does anyone know about shots fired near St. Mary's church (32nd & Morgan) in Bridgeport last night around 12:30am? We heard them pretty clearly and called it in but no police activity or squealing tires we know of afterwards. Hopefully a false alarm!?

  • Does anyone know what relation there is (if any) to the incident at 31st and Aberdeen today? This morning, someone fired at a passing car. Holden School had a soft lockdown.
