The man was sitting in the vehicle in the 6400 block of South Paulina Street when someone approached with a weapon. The man drove away while the shooter fired, hitting him in the back, police said.

The man hit a tree about two blocks away in the 6600 block of South Paulina, according to police.

A 38-year-old man suffered a graze wound to the arm around 11 p.m. while he drove north in the 7200 block of South Vincennes Avenue in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side, police said. He was shot when someone in a trailing gray Jeep fired at him. He refused medical treatment.

Around 2:15 p.m., a 21-year-old man was shot in the 6600 block of South Paulina Street in the West Englewood neighborhood and died after the car he was in crashed and flipped over. The crash also injured a 17-year-old boy.

A  24-year-old man was shot in the leg about 7:05 p.m. in the 1900 block of West Garfield Boulevard in the Back of the Yards neighborhood, police said. He was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was listed in good condition, police said.

MISSING WHITE & BLACK SHIH TZU MIX DOG -reward

My Mom’s dog is missing. He went missing on October 27th. He may have been seen around Douglas Park.

He is mostly white and black, with black long ears. He may look quite different from the long haired dog in the photo.

Teen charged in Halloween shooting in Montclare neighborhood

During the hearing at the Leighton Criminal Court Building, Judge Mary C. Marubio also ordered Sergio Perez held on home electronic monitoring if he were released on bond. Perez, of the 2800 block of North Austin Avenue, was charged as an adult with aggravated battery with a firearm.

The shooting took place after Perez passed the victim and two other people who were standing at a bus stop in the 7000 block of West Grand Avenue around 9 p.m. Oct. 31, police said.

Around 9 a.m. Tuesday on the South Side, a 63-year-old man was shot four times where he lived, in the 7300 block of South Oglesby Avenue in the South Chicago neighborhood, police said.

Boy, 13, went missing on 6 days ago on Southwest Side

Valdemar Flores was last seen Oct. 28 in the 2400 block of South California Avenue. He was wearing a black zippered Northface hooded fleece jacket, dark-blue pants and gray gym shoes with black laces, police said.

Valdermar is known to frequent the areas around 23rd Place and Washtenaw Avenue.

Prosecutors allege Pouncy entered Maxwell Street Polish at 11656 S. Halsted St. about 6 a.m. Tuesday and ordered some food.

An employee who followed Pouncy saw him begin to hobble before sitting down on a bench and taking off his hoodie, Antonietti said. Pouncy then collapsed on a porch in the 700 block of West 116th Street, where he later was arrested, police said.

Pouncy, of the 11800 block of South Peoria Street, was rushed to Advocate Christ Hospital in serious condition; he later needed surgery. A booking photo was unavailable Thursday due to Pouncy's continued hospitalization.
