Rich Homie Quan shows he’s more than just the “Ooh Ooh Ooh” guy

Tue 7/3, 8 PM, Reggie's Rock Club, 2105 S. State, $25, $22 in advance, 18+

Rich Homie Quan shows he's more than just the "Ooh Ooh Ooh" guy

Bourdain brings 'Parts Unknown,' and a big appetite, to Chicago

And so there he is having breaded steak sandwiches at Ricobene's, 252 W. 26th St., and talking between bites with music producer Steve Albini, who speaks intelligently about what it means to be a creative Chicagoan.

There he is eating mapo doufu at Sze Chuan Cuisine, 2414 S. Wentworth Ave. in Chinatown, and talking between bites with chef Stephanie Izard, who says, "It is nice to get out into the neighborhoods."

  • Ok, thanks Lesko. I didn't see the time stamp. I thought this was unfortunate timing and bad QC by Trib.

Back up, city's main sewer need to be clean up

There is backing up in my place for 4 weeks already. I had two plumbers proved that there is no water flooding in the city's main sewer, which means it is clogged. I have called the city and they confirmed that the city needs to rod the main sewer. But 4 weeks passed already, they haven't done anything, just keep telling me to wait. The situation is getting worse. can you imagine how do we live in a building that has very strong smell from the backing up under such hot weather? Any good advices?

  • Wow! What a horrible situation. I am sorry that you are going through this. Have you contacted your alderman’s office? I would go in person to the office with the pictures because you’ll be less likely to get the run around. Check also with neighbors to see if anyone else has had the problem. There is strength in numbers.

    Good luck!
