Thank you Cristina for putting this out there it's been dangerous working conditions for the employees but Corporate said they can still work! Sad isn't it? they are in air conditioning in their office comfortable. Walked in for 15 minutes and said no reason to close store here are portable a/c units and seeing ceiling collapsed and said just block it and tell customers don't go that way, unbelievable!

The Retreat is one experimental dance performance that wants to put you to sleep
The creators of Khecari's weeklong dance event, The Retreat , encourage audience members to fall asleep. Or rather Khecari's artistic directors, Jonathan Meyer and Julia Rae Antonick, who have been developing the project since 2014, fuse improvisation and highly structured choreography into an amorphous performance designed to put viewers in a meditative headspace.

There is always a special warmth received by the senior housing residents from Casa Maravilla and Las Americas, and yesterday’s Mother Day brunches were no exception. Senior citizens, in general, have a profound perspective on life having lived out the majority of their lives. Not to over simplify, but they’re able to appreciate the smaller things, because they’ve experienced enough about life to realize how precious it is. We can all learn a thing or two from our senior community. Thank you for sharing your special mother’s day experience with me, Las America’s and Casa Maravilla!
