The Last Printer in Printer's Row is Moving!
Remember in October when we posted about the last printing house in Printer's Row? At the time they relished their location and place in an industry that has since vacated the name it helped coined for the neighborhood. Well...that's no longer the case - he gone!

  • Young Authors

Mrs. Porter is asking for $285.93:
My students need paper, pencils, and age appropriate journals to flourish as young authors. Keeping their writing in a journal will allow us to keep up with and track their products throughout the remainder of the school year.

Looks like a new diner type of restaurant has opened at 67 E. Cermak (between Michigan and Wabash).  We can't find much online in the form of a website or yelp reviews.  A reader sent us the following pic of their menu:

A reader sent us the following pic of their menu: Additionally, we noticed that Chef Luciano has done some additional renovations and has opted for a very clean, modern look for their restaurant.

Was going to get a slice of pizza .As I was walking past Steve's Bite, the food smelled great. They menu looked delicious, I tried the Gyro bowl & Chicken Bowl. I could not resist the taffy apple grapes. I was offered a sample of the chili, it was awesome. a great balance of spices. It was quite delicious, am i am super picky.
I enjoyed both entrees, the gyro & chicken was nicely seasoned , on a bed of rice & mixed salad , lightly drizzled vinagarette.
Overall Steve"s Bite is a wonderful change from the same old fast food cycle. You have got to try a meal, you will not be disappointed.

Chinese New Year 2018: Celebrate the Year of the Dog in Chicago
As a young girl, I remember performing with my dance troupe beneath the pagoda in Chinatown Square for Chinese New Year, fluttering silk ribbons and pirouetting with long silk fans in mid-air. One of my fondest memories, though, is receiving red envelopes stuffed with lucky money - what kid wouldn't love that?
