Change aka progress occurs every moment in the day in every country in the world. Preparing to change is crucial to ones' survival as progress wipes out jobs. It is progress not China killing US jobs. Already the $15 per hour folk have wiped out some percentage of kiosk fast food jobs. McDonalds already has them as do some other fast food restaurants. Cars wipped out the horse and buggy. Electricity wiped out Gas lights. The list goes on forever of how progress displaces.

The solution is to KEEP UP WITH THE TIMES. Get an education or training in a job that will pay a decent wage. Buy in a disinvested/destroyed neighborhood and ride the profit train for 20-30 years. If you are lucky u can make a million bucks. What a happy event that is for some I know who rode that train and could cash out at retirement.

There should be MORE on how to survive a 70% vacant neighborhood changing to a fully occupied neighborhood. There should be instructions on how to get in on this opportunity. Pitfalls should be explained. Benefits should be explained.

'There Isn't A Just Housing Choice': How We've Enabled The Pains Of Gentrification
Gentrification is no longer something that just happens in low-income neighborhoods. As the phenomenon displaces communities of color, from Inglewood to Washington, D.C., "gentrification" has been co-opted to include food and culture as well. So, what does the loaded term really mean? According to urban sociologist John Schlichtman, gentrification cannot happen without disinvestment.

When someone wants to push a hot button they say gentrification.

The truth is that URBAN RENEWAL is important!

Chicago does not develop the city in any kind of fair and just way. Resources are not allocated in a fair way. The rich get richer.

Did T.W.O clean up their act ? Why do you not read up on that affair Furguson Vs Reverend Leon Finney and TWO and tell Us why other Chicago Residents and Vendors do not get the same Gentle treatment from the Inspector General office at City hall and Other city Inspector General offices? !

Rubber Stamp would be better ! These people are brown nosing yes Men and Women! That document you speak of (190pg document Task Force on Police Accountability) is just more smoke from Mayor Rahm !
How much did it cost the City of Chicago for Mr Furguson to compile that Report ?
1st stop to better City of Chicago government accountability is to Dismiss the Inspector General at Chicago public schools , Chicago housing authority And replace them with some honest Professionals that can go to the State and federal Attorney without asking permission from the Mayors office!
Most Major Housing authority agency's in America have realized that a (in house) Housing agency Inspector general is worthless and not very independent.
I can Confidently Say the Chicago housing Authority Inspector general office has a very low grade under the current Inspector general and her assistant just a waste of millions of Dollars every year !
Expect Chicago housing to return to Crime and living conditions of 1990s due to the current corruption and incompetence at CHA.
I only make these statements because i believe and know them to be true from Research and investigation of Facts.

There is a total reform that needs to happen and,the core is,the union contract, that protects police, who are, guilty,of wrongdoing. Sounds like, the union needs reform also.

The JD needs to imvestigate the Police Union also. Protecting members guilty of criminal offenses should be illegal.

Who is supposed to remove it? People are freaking out on their way to work. ,this is NOT how to build trust and community, support that is for sure. ,it seemed they covered the body, while, they were here. When they left they turned the body over and sprawled it on,the sidewalk.

This is NUTZ!!! Who is in charge at 11th District?????

Did police prepare a false report? Rumor has it,the cause of death was reported as BLUNT FORCE TRAUMA when in actuality a was a BULLET in the head meaning MURDER.

There were dozens of police and law enforcement people here that night. Does this mean the crime scene was not processed properly? Did a corner come? If so, what is their function?

HOW CAN A BULLET IN THE HEAD BE CONFUSED WITH TRAUMA?

When Cops Committ Crime

Found this on the internet. Did not check it out to figure out how accurate.

With Chicago's history we need data like this!

Source Vice
https://news.vice.com/en_us/article/595kv3/police-crime-database

This is the first database that tracks America's criminal cops
Twelve years ago, a criminal justice master's student named Philip Stinson got into an argument with his grad school classmates about how often police officers committed crimes. His peers, many of whom were cops themselves, thought police crime was rare, but Stinson, himself a former cop and attorney, thought the problem was bigger than anyone knew.

You will be SHOCKED at what service we are supposed to get compared to what we actually get.

There are reformers and anti reforms in the system. the reformers are doing a great job. The anti reformers (slackers) are actively engaged in the Blue Flu. We need to inoculate the city and rid the force of those who don't wan't to do their job.

If ME TOO is coined we need a slogan Go after slackers.

For those who "don't blame them" because the job is dangerous...think again. Don't take a dangerous job if your dna is not wired to handle danger.

Drs are not afraid of blood. Soldiers go to war despite intense fear. Police should have the disposition, ethic, commitment to serve and protect. Who in their right mind would pay employees for 20% productivity and 80% failure. The Chicago way is way off mark.

The Justice Department Civil Rights Division, States Attorney, Attorney General, Chicago Task Force, Chicago Inspector General ALL agree Chicago Police need reform.

How we get what we are entitled to is to read the Directives; When you don't get the service call and report the refusal to serve to a regulatory agency.

This is the NEW civic duty.

How can people in certain parts of Pilsen tolerate Banda music and drunkeness in the middle of the night? How? The is a total lack of regard for people who have wake up early. Moreover, if you call the police, you become a target for their animosity. Does anyone know how to silence these folks without becoming a target?
