Apologies for resurrecting an old thread with a next n related issue. Does anyone know which commissioner or department someone should contact in order to get speed bumps placed in a high traffic alleyway . Also on the subject of issues in North Lawndale and Garfield Park are there any meetings or communicable formats in which we can all meet and discuss issues and resolutions to problems; Outside of my favorite every Block website

  • gpblight 22 Yr East Garfield Resident

speedbumps are provided by CDOT. email rebekah.scheinfeld@cityofchicago.org, Tom.carney@cityofchicago.org

There are some restrictions and requirements. I think a traffic study has to be done to justify.
