The first fatal attack happened about 12:35 p.m. in the 5800 block of South Winchester Avenue in the West Englewood neighborhood. A 20-year-old man was dead on the scene, according to Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Merritt.
The second fatal attack happened shortly before 2:15 p.m. in the 7900 block of South Greenwood Avenue in the East Chatham neighborhood, police said.
Shortly after 2:30 p.m., an 18-year-old man was shot in the in the West Englewood neighborhood in the 5700 block of South Paulina Street, police said.
About 1:30 p.m., a 19-year-old man was shot in the 7000 block of South Chappel Avenue in the South Shore neighborhood, Merritt and police said.
