Black Panther's identity politics give the superhero genre a fresh spin
The first black superhero in mainstream American comics, Marvel's Black Panther came with an African pedigree: in real life he's the ancestral king of a small, impoverished sub-Saharan nation that conceals a secret empire, the whole operation empowered by an asteroid from outer space.

Phill is correct, it was a wall, in hard copy form, but in the movie it is an impenetrable barrier of mountains and forest, sort of like a wall. And early in the first reel (which moves a little too slowly for me, but may have been necessary for the new viewers who do not get the genre or the Marvel Universe) the Wakandan group discusses why they cannot allow outsiders to enter their kingdom, "because they would bring all of their problems here".

Even in the very last assertion of bringing their technology to the world, to help all of the nations, there is no suggestion that they will open their borders, or allow outside peoples (races?) to integrate into their society. Though there just may have been a budding romance in the final, post credits scene where Bucky finally returns. I am not sure how the King, will handle that one.

Criminal activity

Residents are not being notified of neighborhood criminal activity in a timely manner.
If residents and guests are not notified by the city or association management companies, the criminals are free to attack again until they are caught.
There must be a better notification system sent immediately once an attack is reported by a victim.

Were you talking about the commanders death?
If so your right about the In Chicago. He'll sadly receive a slap on the wrist and be let back out sooner than you think.
The politicians say they want to something. How about bringing back the death penalty for crimes like this
But that will never happen with all the snow flakes and politicians with no Bxxxs

  • @JL

You're off your rocker if you think that will happen. The psycho who did that will be in prison for quite a while. There's just too much evidence against him.

However, I do wish they'd put as much effort into convicting ALL the murderers as they will with the commander's death.
