The final item on the agenda for Tuesday was a community supper held at the Museum of Science and Industry, 5700 S. Lake Shore Drive.

Chicago Shootings Kill 3, Wound 9 Since Friday Morning

• In Pullman at 11:30 a.m., a 17-year-old boy was shot in the 700 block of East 105th Street. He was shot in his left hip and taken to Christ.

• In Fuller Park at 1 a.m. Saturday, two men were shot outside a liquor store in the 200 block of West Root Street.

• In Morgan Park at 11:53 p.m. Friday, a 31-year-old man was shot while getting out of his parked vehicle in the 11600 block of South Church Avenue.

• In Englewood at 8:45 p.m., two 17-year-old boys were shot while in riding in a vehicle headed eastbound in the 200 block of West Garfield Boulevard.

• In West Lawn at 7:33 p.m., an 18-year-old man shot himself while he was sitting in a parked vehicle in the 3900 block of West 69th Place.

• In West Pullman at 5:55 p.m., an 18-year-old man was shot while walking on the sidewalk in the 12300 block of South Wallace Street.

• In Roseland at 9:25 p.m., a 24-year-old man was shot in a robbery in the 10000 block of South State Street. He was taken to Roseland Hospital.

The first fatal attack happened about 1:15 p.m. in the 3200 block of West Maypole Avenue in the East Garfield Park neighborhood, police said.

That shooting happened about 2:10 p.m. in the 4600 block of North Central Park Avenue. The man was shot in the chest and was initially taken in critical condition to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, said police. 

About 4:45 p.m. on the South Side, a 18-year-old was fatally shot in the chest in the East Chatham neighborhood, police said. Officers found him unresponsive in the 800 block of East 83rd Street and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead.

    The SDSC camera people at 11th District do not use camera 7113 in a proactive way. If they did; they would arrest people under pod cameras doing illegal things every single day. Not sure if 7113 images captured the killing on the 3200 W. Maypole block.
