Four people were shot at a birthday party around 1 a.m. Sunday in the 3200 block of West Division Street in the Humboldt Park neighborhood, according to police and witnesses.

The first fatal shooting happened around 1:15 p.m. Saturday at the bus stop outside the 69th Street station, 15 W. 69th St., police said.

In the double homicide, two men, 25 and 19, were shot around 3 a.m. Sunday in the 6000 block of West Belden Street in the Belmont Central neighborhood, police said.

Earlier, a 41-year-old man was fatally shot multiple times in the upper body around 2:20 a.m. while driving his vehicle in the 12900 block of South Halsted Street in the Far South Side’s West Pullman neighborhood, police said.

    Police warn of vacant home burglaries on Far South Side
    Police are warning residents on the Far South Side about burglaries of vacant homes in the Roseland and Washington Heights areas in January, according to a community alert. In at least eight incidents since Jan. 15, burglars have broken into the vacant homes and taken appliances from inside, police said.

Scammer Alert

Young Caucasian male knocks on doors saying he is doing a concrete job down the street on another house and has some leftover concrete that he does not want to waste. Offers to do a small tuckpointing job for 25.00. He gives a card from Dr. Drain at 773-642-3478 and says that is his cell phone number. Called Dr. Drain who is a sewer and plumbing company and they know nothing about this. They are very concerned as they sent someone out to pass out cards in the neighborhood. Scammers are using cards and flyers from other businesses to get money.
