I have a multi-story "cat condo," or climbing platform, that needs a home. My cat took one look and turned up his nose. It's like new, barely sniffed at. Covered with light-colored carpet, several perching levels and roost boxes, scratching post, etc. All assembled. No fleas, bedbugs, or roaches! It's big, though, and you'll need a van or SUV to get it to your place unless you want to take it apart. Located near Wrigley Field.

Hi Anita! Could you send me the measurements and a picture? I'm interested if I have the space. Thanks!

I'm sure a cat shelter like Tree House Humane Society would love to have a new kitty condo. Why not give them a call? It's careless, no-kill shelter.
Their number is 773-262-4000 & located at 7225 N Western Ave.

Items like kitty condos, towels, new toys, etc benefit many animals.

    Also call Anti cruelty.

Hope all this helps you make a considerate decision. Good luck.

  • Hi. Interested with 2 adopted kittys...

  • Spam Alert Don't be selling your used junk up in here, okay?

Heh. I'll skip the crack I was going to make about potential fleas or bedbugs.
Have you considered giving your persnickety feline more time to like the cat condo as much as you did when you bought it? You know how they can be sometimes about taking their own sweet time. I presume you've already rubbed it with catnip?

  • That does work too ! I also agree with Tree House. Great place to donate !

  • Felines and canines does very good works for cats. I'd also try taking back to petco or petsmart. I've taken back tons of things without yaks.

  • I would be interested! My former street cats need a roosting spot. I'm right by wrigley as well.

  • Rub some parts with catnip? Works with my old girl who turns her nose up.

  • Is this taken already?

I think the best idea is for you to donate it to one of the shelters. If you need help getting it there I would be happy to do that! I have a CRV it would probably fit into. Tree house is one of my favorite places.

  • Anyone know how many cats tree house has taken in from the hurricanes?

Thanks for the suggestions. Donating it was my first thought but I decided to give my neighbors a chance before I contacted an agency. If nobody bites I'll give it to a shelter.

  • Harmony House is another non for profit, no kill shelter for cats. I occasionally donate cat items to this place quite often, they would greatly appreciate it and are located on Elston just west of Western on the South side of the street .
