Sorry to bring sad news. Our dear Husky, Comet, was found yesterday at the side of a busy road 1.7 miles from her sitter's home in Oriole Park. She had passed on. We may never have found her if not for a call that resulted from a shared Facebook posting.
We thank all of you who scoured the neighborhood calling her name and posting flyers. And we thank the social media community for your generosity in sharing.
Meanwhile, we celebrate Comet's life. A rescue dog, she was warm and gentle and shy. She loved Chicago's lake front dog park. And long walks in the woods. She was so loved by her family. We miss her. Give your dog an extra hug today from Comet. She would like that.
