The fatal attack happened shortly after 2 p.m. in the 8400 block of South Brandon Avenue in the Bush neighborhood on the Southeast Side, police said.

Ford lived in the 8300 block of South Brandon, about a block from where he was shot, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

About an hour later, a 15-year-old boy was shot on the West Side in the 3900 block of West Monroe Street in the East Garfield Park neighborhood, police said.

    A 29- year-old man was killed, and a 15-year-old boy was wounded Thursday afternoon in shootings on the South and West sides, Chicago police said. The fatal attack happened shortly after 2 p.m. in the 8400 block of South Brandon Avenue in the Bush neighborhood on the South Side, police said.
