In the first fatal shooting, a man was shot and killed while arguing with another man around 5:30 a.m. in the 4900 block of South Cicero Avenue, about a mile north of Midway Airport, police said.

Shortly before 11:30 a.m., two men were shot multiple times in the 5300 block of Race Avenue in the Austin neighborhood, police said.

The 15-year-old boy was shot just about 4:50 p.m. in the 5100 block of West Harrison Street in the Austin neighborhood, police said.

A 28-year-old man was shot about 7:45 p.m. in the 1300 block of West 51st Street in the Back of the Yards neighborhood, police said. The man was taken to an area hospital, where his condition was stabilized. The man was shot during a robbery, police said. No one was in custody.

About 6:15 p.m., an 18-year-old man was shot in the abdomen while he was walking in the 700 block of North Homan Avenue. A 34-year-old woman who was driving a vehicle suffered wounds to the body. She drove herself to Norwegian American Hospital. The man was taken to Stroger Hospital.

About 2:15 p.m., a 38-year-old man was shot in the Back of the Yards neighborhood in the 5400 block of South Damen Avenue, police said. The man suffered a wound to the left leg and was taken to an area hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

About 12:30 p.m., a 24-year-old man walked into St. Bernard Hospital with a gunshot wound to the left thigh, police said. He told police he was shot in the 6700 block of South Halsted Street. Police said the shooting may have happened in an alley.
