The first robbery happened on Dec. 9 in the 10500 block of South Indianapolis Avenue in the East Side neighborhood. The second happened on Wednesday in the 13300 block of South Brandon Avenue in the Hegewisch neighborhood.

    Two Southeast Side fast food restaurants robbed in a week
    Chicago police are searching for a man who robbed two Southeast Side fast food restaurants in the past week. In each case, a man walked into the restaurant and demanded cash, either by handing employees a note or waving a handgun and asking for money from the register, police said in a community alert.
