A 32-year-old man was getting out of his 2016 Volkswagen GTI in the 800 block of North Bishop Street in the Noble Square neighborhood when it was stolen just after 4:30 a.m. Wednesday. 

The man wasn't injured and the two attackers fled with his phone and keys. Police found the car in the 1800 block of South Karlov Avenue in the Lawndale neighborhood. Two people were in custody. 

Earlier, about 11:45 p.m. in the 2900 block of North Whipple Street in the Logan Square neighborhood, a 26-year-old woman parking her silver Infiniti SUV was carjacked by two men who emerged from a gangway and demanded the keys.

    Overnight carjackings reported in Logan Square, Noble Square neighborhoods
    Two people were carjacked overnight on the Near West Side and Northwest Side, according to police.
