Construction Jobs Available For School Annex Project in Brighton Park

apply to work on the construction of a new $2.7 million modular building that is being built at Columbia Explorers Academy, at 46th and Kedzie in Brighton Park.

Police responding to a “suspicious vehicle” call said they spotted Valencia in a sedan in an alley behind 6250 S. Pulaski.

Police said they later recovered a fully loaded pistol on the ground in front of 4131 W. 61st St. Valencia allegedly admitted that he threw the gun away once he knew he was being followed by police, who also confiscated a bag of suspect cannabis from him.
