    At least two people and one car have been pictured in video in one of three incidents that occurred in Wicker Park and Bucktown on Fri., Jan. 12. Police detectives are asking for help in identifying them. Armed with semiautomatic handguns, they used a silver colored, 4-door Chevrolet Impala in robberies of three women.

Five juveniles charged in cell phone store robberies: Including Division Street

Five juveniles ranging in age from 14 to 16 were charged with a total of nine felonies and 14 misdemeanors in multiple cell phone store robberies, including the incident at 1819 W. Division on Jan. 3. 

Three of the offenders were placed into custody on the 1400 black of S. Jefferson St. at approximately 1:38 p.m. and the other two were placed into custody on the 500 block of W. 14th Place at the same time.

Phone store employee stabbed during robbery in East Village

Four to five teenage boys grabbed phones from the store displays on either side of the door at 1819 W. Division St., according to a local resident. Those phones are not working phones.

    People walking alone near the CTA Blue Line station at Damen and North Avenues have become victims to strongarm robberies in December, according to a Chicago Police Department alert for the 14th District. Since Dec. 2, three people have been struck, knocked to the ground then robbed between 11:30 p.m.

    Three cars have been taken in Wicker Park since December 1 from the 1300 and 1400 blocks of Milwaukee Ave. on Friday and Saturday nights between 7 and 11 p.m., according to the Chicago Police Department (CPD). In all cases the drivers left their vehicle to go into a business and their cars were gone when they returned.
