Man shot and killed in Bronzeville identified

He was shot around 8 p.m. Tuesday in the 4700 block of South Forrestville Avenue in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side. The teen was in a vehicle when someone approached on foot, argued with him and then fired shots, police said.

Boy, 17, shot dead in Gresham is identified

Trevail Ridgell, of the 9000 block of South Union Avenue, was pronounced dead Saturday night at 10:22 p.m. on the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Ridgell and 19-year-old Justin Gilbert were shot just after 10:20 p.m. Saturday while in a minivan in the 8900 block of South Union Avenue in the Gresham neighborhood, police said.

Man fatally injured in West Side shooting identified

Terrence Lipsey, 19, was critically injured in a shooting around 8:50 p.m. in the 200 block of North Mason Avenue in the South Austin neighborhood, police said.

Lipsey, who lived just a block from where he was shot in the 300 block of North Mason, was pronounced dead at 4:37 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Sinai.
