Exactly and as a response to you I provided a palette of examples from my life experience in which people from all over the world agreed on standards of hygiene, public alcohol consumption, common languages, gender respect, etc and it was all smooth sailing. Yet when the common standards were not there we ended up having problems that in some regions have developed into bigger issues. I invite people to watch TVE, Deutsche Welle, etc. EB censored those 2 comments of us for no reason. All I said is even if people have completely different sets of believes they can come to a common understanding of what's a minimum common denominator of respect. And this time I'm going to be more radical and go ahead and say it: I don't always see diverse communities pursuing that minimum common denominator around here. That doesn't mean that the 2 of us agree on everything. It only means that we agree on minimum common standards. I won't litter your street with dirty diapers and broken beer bottles that could hurt a kid or a senior citizen. We might vote for different leaders. I'm on the moderate left side ideologically. The right comes from a different place in life but why should I publicly judge? I would rather spend my life finding common grounds than insulting others just because they don't think like me.

***FOUND*** Small tan male dog- possibly a chihuahua mix- found 1/15 early morning around 12am in Lincoln Square on the corner of Lincoln and Montrose in Chicago. Was wandering and looked cold with no owner in sight. Such a sweet boy- ran straight to me when approached. Was shaking and cold, so my husband and I warmed him up and took him to Medvet on Belmont/Clybourn. We live in Aurora so did not want to take him too far away from where we found him. No collar or microchip. He looks well fed and is so friendly, obedient, and sweet- he must have an owner/family out there who is missing him! Medvet will keep him 2-3 days and then he could be sent to Chicago Animal Control. Please contact Medvet @ 3123 N Clybourn (the emergency vet- not the cancer center) 773-281-7110 or reply to this post.
