  • More requests for handouts at Smyser.

This school should be investigated because funds are not getting to the classroom as they should.

  • robin in WRP I support a 28th Amendment 4Free & Fair Elections!

Here's a thought, CHB - stop seeing classroom fundraisers in your feed.

  • Not happening Robin.

The CPS is broken and the CTU is corrupt...that rears its ugly head at DonorsChoose as teachers beg for money our taxpayer dollars should already be addressing.

Perhaps you should take your own advice, Robin and "stop seeing classroom fundraisers in your feed" if my views bother you so much.

C-H-B....To personnel costs including the continued practice of Chicago taxpayers paying 75% of what CTU members should be contributing to their pensions.

  • FYI CTU only contributes 2% of their pay while other unions contribute from 9 to 11%.

    Folks,
This is a pre-opening inspection that most restaurants fail. The inspector is looking for a laundry list of building and maintenance related issues that have to do with food safety once the restaurant actually opens. This location has had a lot of turnover since the diner closed here 3/4 years ago. The inspector will normally schedule a repeat visit the following week once repairs have been made to be compliant.
Let's support the local businesses that are investing in the neighborhood. Interesting choice indeed to open up across from another established Mexican restaurant.

  • Not true, KJ Carter.

These violations cost money. Furthermore, unlike when your business is ongoing, the initial time/date of a "License" type inspection is known and you are presumably prepared for the city to come in.
