Whatever happened to the idea of not posting pictures of found dogs so that you don't have to worry about the wrong person claiming them? Not to say these people posting are not wonderful humans.

I love our school! I'm so grateful to live close to such a wonderful neighborhood school where you feel like you are part of a family community. Everyone, parents, teachers, students etc are all so pleasant and friendly.

Skip Haynes, who wrote the Chicago anthem "Lake Shore Drive," died of cancer Monday in California. Mr. Haynes, 71, had been the last surviving member of Aliotta, Haynes and Jeremiah, whose performance of the jingly-jangly early 1970s song became a hardy perennial of radio.

  • I do not see the benefits of criticizing the teachers who work hard within the system they have; however, I do think teaching children ways to earn and contribute can only benefit the kids as individuals and the classroom as a whole. So for that point cubshawksbears I think your point could be helpful.

  • The pension fund is near Bankruptcy. This is the problem because all of the negotiations were done from the same side of the table. If you check very few company's have defined pensions any more. They are unsestranable. Most are frozen and have gone to 401k type retirement plans.
Only the politically connected Unions that hold the public hostage by scaring the public with terrible results have them.
Stop crying or get another job.
