  Chicago-based sushi bowl chain Aloha Poke plans to open a restaurant in two to three months after it builds out the space at 215 S. Washington St. in downtown Naperville.

The location in Naperville will be at 215 S. Washington St. in a free-standing storefront that used to house a triathlon store and training facility called Endure It! When Endure It! moved to a space at 504 W. 5th Ave. near the Naperville Metra station, it freed up the building.

    The Naperville Park District has announced the results of it summertime "Concerts in Your Parks" locations and dates. Last month, more than 1,600 residents cast votes in an online survey for summer concert locations and music styles. Two parks from each region of the Naperville Park District-north, central and south-were selected to host summer concerts.

The 22nd annual International Festival will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, in North Central College's Gregory Arena at Merner Field House, 450 S. Brainard St.

The Naperville Police Department will hold a seminar on preventing identity theft and scams at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, at the Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle St.

The program will be held again at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, at the 95th Street Library, 3015 Cedar Glade Drive.

Author Tammi Sauer will sign copies of her book, "Wordy Birdy," at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, at Anderson's Bookshop, 123 W. Jefferson Ave.

Camps will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Feb. 15-17, and Monday, Feb. 19, at the museum, 301 N. Washington St., and will feature themes such as kitchen chemistry and engineering.

Naperville North High School will host the third annual "Clash of the Sequins" National Show Choir Competition Saturday, Feb. 17, at the school, 899 Mill St.

North Central College will host "Feed the Need," an annual event to help package meals to those in need Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 17 and 18, at the college's residence hall/recreation center, 440 S. Brainard St.

Naperville schools close as city braces for possible 14 inches of snow

The Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center at 302 W. Jackson Ave. and the Fort Hill Activity Center at 20 Fort Hill Drive will remain open as warming centers for people who need them.
