More about Honor Flight Chicago below...

Honor Flight Chicago was founded to recognize Chicagoland’s World War II and Korean War veterans by flying them all-expense-paid to Washington DC for a day of honor, remembrance and celebration. Currently we are flying WWII and Korean War veterans, but we are accepting applications from Vietnam War veterans for future flights. After we have reached out to all WWII and Korean War veterans who are interested, we will begin flying Vietnam veterans to Washington DC.

    Honor Flight Chicago
The American veteran is one of our greatest treasures-the men and women who answered our nation's call, especially at times of our greatest need. At Honor Flight Chicago, our mission is to thank and pay tribute to these heroes-especially our World War II and Korean War veterans-by bringing them to Washington, D.C.

Dear Neighbor, On Tuesday, June 21, some of our neighbors just outside the ward experienced a horrible and disgusting incident. Someone burned a cross in front of a home on the 4400-block of North Monitor. This grotesque and cowardly display of hatred and bigotry is unacceptable and deserving of strong condemnation.

Comcast Door-to-door

This evening a man claiming to be from Comcast went door-to-door asking if the home had internet, cable, and security. He did not try to sell us any services. I called Comcast and they said door-to-door sales people have to carry ID from either Comcast or X-Finity. Sharing this so others are aware.

  • Diana Davis-Tounsi My Kind Of Town

Magic word is reseller. Thanks though.

  • I encountered a man name Peter from Comcast. Friendly guy. Very informative that I actually switched from ADT to infinity Home.
