  • @Ed Police are no less lazy than any government employee. That's why hiring more won't make any difference. 100 x 0 work (i.e. going fetal) still equals 0.

  • Ed Gould Interested in improbving the neighborhood

Mark Jones: I think its a mixed bag, some are good and some are lazy. I have noticed that since the Police offloaded their ticket writing to meter maids though, the laziness factor has gone into high gear, then when they got their SUV's it has skyrocketed.
One thing I have noticed is that the police used to hang around Starbuck's or some dinner all the time. People finally started to say something, now they go to a different place most days.

  • Agassiz Elementary School reviewed by a teacher

In the eight years that my grandchild has attended this school has given positive life experiences to her and enriched the quality of her future. As a grandparent, I have meet many of the other parents at this school........income doesnt matter; they all want the same for their children; good education and old school values. It's unfortunate that our City Government doesnt do more for to help the teachers; as they are mentors to these kids and deserve more recongnition and better pay scale. The kids have a deeper respect for the educators then the government leaders.
