Venting - Stolen From Alley

I have a small table in the alley that I use as a canopy for the abandoned cats' food and water. I have seen people try and walk off with it before. I called to them that it was mine and to bring it back. Yesterday someone removed the legs (which were like PVC pipes) and threw the top and the rock I use for weight on the ground. People are such (fill in the blank). There is no reason to steal four pieces of plastic tube that was obviously of use to someone else. Whoever took them I would like to tell you where to stick them.

  • Hi goldntreasures,

I think I get the idea but if you have a photo of your setup can you post it here? With no identifying surrounding areas, of course. Thanks. No big deal if you can't. I know how to improvise.

  • Feeding strays/feral cats just makes more stays/ferals. Giving them an easy meal means that they aren't catching mice/rats.

If you aren't getting them spayed/neutered, you're just enabling them to reproduce and making the problem worse.

Cow Who Escaped and Swam to Island Won't Be Slaughtered | Care2 Causes
Last month a very determined Limousin cow in southern Poland did something pretty remarkable to avoid the slaughterhouse. As the cow was being led from her farm to the truck, her owner - identified by news sources only as Mr. Lukasz - warned the handlers to tranquilize her.

COM-ED

I had often wondered why Com-Ed would send those energy saving tips with my bills. It just didn't seem reasonable to think that they were just being nice. Then I stumbled across the fact that the less electricity you use,the more they charge per KWH.
