Lincoln Towing Hauls Author's Car Away From Her Own Book Launch Party

ANDERSONVILLE - As state regulators continue to weigh whether to yank Lincoln Towing Service's license - claiming the firm frequently moved cars without authorization - a Chicago author said the notorious company grabbed her car while she celebrated the publication of her book.

  • Harley's correct....LT's and RSI's so-called spotters look for cars regardless of whether the car's owner went into the business that owns the lot or not...then when the driver is not at the car, it's towed.

  • LT has also been know to post their signs in lots that don't even contract with them...and then towing cars parked there. They're vile.

Weekly Update from Your Alderman - August 18, 2017
This has been a difficult week for our country in the wake of the hatred, racism, and violence that was unleashed by white supremacists, the KKK and neo-nazis in Charlottesville, Virginia, last weekend. Furthering these tragic events was the morally repugnant response from President Trump who repeatedly found similarities between those inciting hate and racism and the peaceful protesters standing together in unity against these hate groups.

Join us for the annual Edgewater 5K Run/1mi Walk, the only race course that includes Sheridan Road and the lakefront path! The Edgewater 5K raises money for all schools in the 48th Ward, both private and public. Your investment in today's students is an investment in the future, as many of the 48th Ward graduates stay in the community.
