'The Wolves' is remarkable for being about true teenage girls, running in a pack

Where: Goodman Theatre, 170 N. Dearborn St.

'The Wolves' is remarkable for being about true teenage girls, running in a pack
The Wolves are players on a fictional, under-17 girls soccer team, the scourge of their suburban league. But the play by Sarah DeLappe that created them isn't so much a work about the world's most beautiful game, notwithstanding some nods in that most worthy of directions, but an honest and sympathetic study of what it feels like to be an adolescent girl.

The beignets come with a surprise if you're not careful. Bite into them a certain way and they spurt hot parsnip cream all over your digits.

Tech co-working space is coming to Fulton Market

San Francisco-based tech incubator and coworking provider the Vault will open its second U.S. location in September after signing a 20,482-square-foot lease in McCaffery's office project at 1115 W. Fulton St., the companies announced.

Then there's the wave of coworking spaces popping up all around the city, and particularly near the West Loop. Industry giant WeWork has a 77,000-square-foot location in the Fulton Market District and is poised to add another 48,000-square-foot location just four blocks away at 210 N. Carpenter St.

Amsterdam-based Spaces recently signed a lease for a 40,000-square-foot coworking office in the 900 block of West Randolph Street, while Brooklyn, N.Y.-based Industrious recently opened a new office in Fulton Market.

The renovated building will include a rooftop deck and public event space, but most importantly will be surrounded by what McCaffery deems the "two epicenters" on Fulton Street of Google and Sterling Bay's Fulton West project at 1330 W. Fulton St., home to online job marketplace company Glassdoor.

McCaffery Interests also is building another office building nearby at 1201 W. Lake St. without a tenant signed, betting on future demand in an area validated as a corporate destination by Google and McDonald's, which is moving its global headquarters to the area this spring.
