Neighbor message about acts of kindness
I am looking for a small inexpensive space to do some community workshops? Any suggestions for me?
What kind of community workshops? Like wood & metal working?
More like self-help workshops.
If you happen to be woman focused : http://www.chicagoartistsresource.org/organizations/annes-haven
You could take a look at Anne's Haven ... email@example.com
thank you for the info.
Portage Grounds has a nice room available for community use.
The Irving Park United Methodist Church on Keeler & Grace could be another option. They have a few meeting spaces.
Schorsch Village Hall
Chicago Public Library has community rooms the public can use. Austin/Irving branch is on Irving a couple of blocks West of Austin. Talk to the librarians there.
Yes, try Anne's Haven:
Or Farlow's Playroom:
Hi -- I'm the pastor at Irving Park UMC and we have several spaces available. We would love to have you here and have reasonable space use fees. Call the church at 773-283-6262 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org and let's have a conversation!
Thank you kindly. I will do so.
I also recommend Anne's Haven. I was just there yesterday for a meet up and it's a lovely gem!
Thank you for your suggestion
