Take advantage of a unique opportunity to enjoy delicious food

blues music around. "Rendezvous with the Blues" is the first
official benefit of Northside Community Resources (NCR), the
organization formerly known as the Rogers Park Community Council.

The fun takes place this Tuesday, May 15th, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., at
Space, 1245 Chicago, in Evanston. Enjoy the sounds of "Cheryl
and the Dynamics" and "The Geneva Convention" in the intimate
surroundings of a premier music venue and support the vital work
of this important agency.

Tickets are $60 a person or $100 a person. Space has limited

NCR serves a-risk seniors, victims of domestic violence,
immigrants and other residents in need. NCR's skilled staff
assistants advocate for those in need to insure they receive all
the rights and benefits to which they are entitled and ultimately
live a better life.

Local apartment tenants, for example, call upon NCR's Housing
Resource Center to advocate on their behalf when their landlord
fails to address basic maintenance issues or otherwise violates
the Chicago Residential Landlord and Tenant Ordinance. The
north side's most isolated seniors, meanwhile, look to NCR to
access in-home services that allow them to live independently.
And every day, victims of domestic violence contact NCR's Victim
Advocacy and Support Program for help securing orders of

NCR's caring team works with residents one-on-one to empower
their lives and enrich our neighborhood.
