Can this be reported? It's always the same people on block.

  • dem love my hood

yes prob 311, they should get ticketed. At least that is the law.

  • I believe it's the owners responsibility to shovel the walks in front of their home. It might be a lot in Chicago I don't know? So I would report to 311 or call them and ask them who you should report to.

  • Call 311 or report online. Below is a link to the city’s webpage with rules for sidewalk snow removal requirements.

Call your Alderman’s office, they will send a letter to that address. This homeowner can be ticketed

  • You can report by email or call 311. I have done it and I have seen the owner get told they have 24 hours to clear it or get tickets. They have cleaned it ASAP. It’s does work.

  • Supposedly it is a $500 ticket for sidewalks not cleared

  • The City has gotten pretty agressive on this, so be sure to report! We submitted several and noticed the sidewalks were cleaned up within hours.

  • This never used to bother me. However, last night I saw an elderly woman with a walker struggling to even move for a few inches. It broke my heart. Life is tough enough for many people...

  • d3 NoHo

Touhy park never shovels the path between gate and fieldhouse. I saw a guy fall tryi g to pass on the inprovised path yesterday as it's now getting icey. Every snowfall though. City just closes out the 311 reqeusts as resolved even though they are not.

D3. Complain to your Alderman! The more complaints the better chance it will get done.
