Does anyone have information of neighborhood groups within the Logan, Humboldt, "West Bucktown" area?

I have looked into the LSNA, but it appears to be more of an social/political activist group than NA, especially when compared to the Bucktown Community Organization (previous group I was a member of)

  • If you are interested in historic buildings and boulevards, check out Logan Square Preservation at

Palmer Square has a homeowners group.

Every park should have an Advisory Council, one example is the Unity Park Advisory Council which organizes activities etc at Unity Park on Kimball and Schubert.

  • You didn't mention which part of Logan Square you live but there is also the Greater Goethe Neighborhood Association and many smaller groups that exist within Logan Square, some by area. The are also various facebook groups and list servs

  • I am near Armitage and California

LoganSquarist does monthly neighborhood meetups and often times they've been very close to Armitage/California. There was one at Masada, the coffee shop next to Revolution - those are just two examples.

  • There was a group that called themselves the West Bucktown neighborhood association, whose borders were North ave, California, Armitage, and Western.

There was group called north Humboldt South Logan whose borders were North Ave, California, kedzie , and Armitage.

There is a gtroup called Armitage neighbors together (ANT) that was near Armitage and Homan.

I would google those first. Also, as a member of the Humboldt Park Advisory Council, I would invite you to be a member there. We meet next on Thursday Feb 22nd at 630PM at the Fieldhouse.

    Good Luck!
