Old Navy is running a sale right now on a $25 pair of pants that includes a free tee shirt. I bought a pair on S. State St. and all the inside stitching looks like the pants are hand sewn (sewn by hand on a commercial sewing machine). Do they have a factory or a warehouse in Chicago?

Between 10:00 and 10:30 am we felt and heard a large boom noise around the Union Station area. It shook our building, though it was mainly felt on the south side of the building.
Anyone else experience this, or know any details?
Commonly train activity will shake our building a bit. But this was an extraordinary noise and vibration. Nothing seems to be happening outside the building since it occurred.
On April 4, Roosevelt University will debut “Lifescape: A Video Portrait of Marshall Bennett” at the school’s Heller College of Business and the Marshall Bennett Institute of Real Estate, (MBIRE) Wabash Building, 425 S. Wabash, Chicago. The installation will be open to students, faculty and the general public.
The installation was produced by Bennett’s daughter, author Bija Bennett, and features a film directed by noted video artist Lincoln Schatz with music recorded by cellist Ken Olsen of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. It is the Institute’s first art installation.
For more information, visit www.roosevelt.edu/realestate. For more information about the video portrait installation contact Bija Bennett at Bija@bijab.com, or 312-202-1105.

Does anyone know what's happening with Chicago Architecture Plus? The site seems to have gone into a hiatus.
The emergency vehicles now include a helicopter and a police boat making its way to the beach through all of the ice on Lake Michigan.
Much activity on Oak Street Beach. Fire trucks, ambulances, and police cars. It appears they are checking the waters. Any information?
Earlier we saw people walking out in the newly formed ice on the shoreline.
Referring to today's posting by Steven Dahlman, is there any information on the continuous (remaining at river level and not climbing up to upper Wacker) Riverwalk that will be available on the south bank after completion in 2016? The posting would seem to indicate that the walk would be continuous first to LaSalle, then to Lake.
