Help finding medical records from Grant hospital at 550 w Webster

I am trying to find my medical records from grant hospital in 1992. It looks like grant became Lincoln park hospital at some point, until it closed permanently. Now it is condos, new development, etc.
Does anyone know where to find the medical records?

Thanks in advance for any info or advice!

Try the chief of staff for former Alderman Vi Daley - Charles Eastwood. He is at UIC now and you can find him on LinkedIn. I think the hospital closed when Vi was still alderman so her staff might know the details of where the records went. He is also a very smart fellow about these things.

Why Chicago's Most Expensive Houses Are in Lincoln Park

When KoenigRubloff agent Janet Own listed a 20,000-square-foot mansion at 1955 North Burling Street in Lincoln Park in June for $18.8 million—making it the most expensive single...

In 2013, the priciest house sold in the city was 1866 North Howe Street, at $9 million. And at presstime, 14 homes in those three blocks either had pending...

...led insurance tycoon Richard Parrillo to build a 15,500-square-foot limestone manse at 1932 North Burling Street in the late 2000s. He spent four years and $40 million razing seven city lots...

The push for luxury housing in this neighborhood shows no signs of stopping. A planned structure at 1959 North Orchard Street is set to rival Parrillo’s. According to one listing agent, the house will be built on five city lots and hit roughly 20,000 square feet when it’s completed next year.

New building going up

Anyone know what they are building on the corner of Armitage and Dayton? I had heard awhile back it was going to be a Walgreens. I know construction had stopped for a long time but now they are back.

  • If it's a newer design that would be cool. Just hope it doesn't bring in any unwanted vagrants.

  • Definitely Walgreens, without alcohol and with the new design and grab-and-go type "produce". Not sure how extensive that part of their concept is, however.

Giving away our Pup

Sadly we have to give away our 7 month old dog that we adopted earlier this summer in order to get ready for the arrival of our baby. Her name is Mavie she's a lab/pit mix and she's pretty much up to date on most of her shots. She also has a micro chip in case she gets lost. We would love for her to go from one family into the arms of another instead of back to a shelter.

If you or anyone you know is interested feel free to email me Deborah91petez@gmail.com and I can send a few pics and more details.

  • Very nicely said, vjl290! I think people are so worried about the amount of animals that are abused and abandoned. No one is in their shoes. I have worked in rescue and I am glad to see that they are trying to the best possible for the puppy. We all need to be thankful they are good people who won't just "throw " the puppy away....they are truly trying to do the best for the pup.

  • I would be interested. how can I contact you?
