Chuy says "he knows violence"in new debate

He should, his son is a self admitted gang member!

  • Bger East Village neighbor

    Robrob
I know you are referring to Mikeg but the way it's written sounds like I'm your neighbor which I am not. Look I have a really horrible neighbor which I wish would go away. But I'd never say or write that publically. I know I just did but no one knows who I am referring to.

  • Yes I was referring to mikeg, and you are right to assume my statement was a hypothetical.
Obviously I don't care about telling him to move in a public forum.

Looking to buy a scooter! Where should I go? I would like to see a variety (stella, honda, yamaha, sym). Is that possible or do I have to go to specific dealers for each brand? I know one shop I went to years ago had a bunch of Stellas and Buddies but that was it (on the NW side). Also not looking to scammed or anything. This will be my first scooter purchase so I would love to buy from helpful/nice people!!

How they'd have to pay for it is to outsource janitorial services etc. Or they'd pay $15 and lay off people so there'd be fewer janitors etc. Either way in the instance of the schools, people would lose jobs. I'm not saying this would apply to the private sector. With the schools' huge debt and no way to raise more funds to pay salaries the schools would have no choice but to layoff people.

We like Skinner, but my daughter's second grade classroom (neighborhood) now has 37 (yes, that's right, 37) students! Kudos to Ms. Katie Schwartz for her ability to keep her students focused and challenged, all the while maintaining order and calm.

  • Skinner Elementary School reviewed by a parent

We have been very happy with our experience at Skinner West Elementary School. Our daughter is in the classical program there. Before attending Skinner West she was bored and had started to dislike school. This has completely changed since attending Skinner West. She absolutely loves school! While we have a bit of a commute to school, it is well worth the drive. In my opinion, I believe that Skinner West has two main factors working for it: First, I am very impressed with the teachers. They appropriately challenge students and work with students to develop studying skills that are necessary to achieve success academically. Second, the students in her class are all high achievers. Finally, it is 'Cool' to be good at school. These two factors synergistically work together to create a culture that promotes intellectual growth and a health amount of academic competition. Another benefit of Skinner West is the after school star program. They organize a myriad of activities after school while still providing quiet study hall time so that students will finish HW before heading home. Over all - at least for our family - Skinner West is a complete gem!
