Kennedy, Commander 1718 South State Street 312-745-4290 1st District Notable Arrests and Success Stories February 1, 2010 Strong Arm Robbery Arrest On January 27, 1st District Tactical Officers were able to arrest a suspect allegedly involved in a series of robberies in the area of Cermak, State, and Clark Streets. Many of the victims have been senior citizens of Asian descent who live in the area and who have previously been unable to identify the offender(s). Thanks to assistance from the community and a victim who was able to identify the man who robbed her, the arrest was made. Citizens are advised to remain vigilant in this area. • 17 East Monroe Street President Clinton Speeds Away from Palmer House
