I saw your sign at George and LeClaire and on Diversey too and will be on the watch. My heart aches extra for you because my baby is a Lhasa Apso too. I hope your baby comes home.

Any information on JJ Peppers @ Fullerton/Cicero???

So, I walk into JJ Peppers (at said location) and there is someone behind the counter I have never seen before. I grab some items and bring them to the register & this man tells me that Lotto is no longer available and all liquor/beer is tax free and discounted. I ask, 'Why is that?' He tells me that people employed there need to go and that JJ's will be closed for 'remolding'. Shwah? Does anyone have any information?

That sounds so strange, almost sounds like if they were being robbed. That's crazy.

Street Lights

Why are some blocks like 5100 Barry so well lit - new bulbs, while 5200 Barry remains in the dark - and gang activity and shootings have happened at 5300 block (at Long Ave) - it gets reported via phone, via email, via app to the City and the aldermen .....but still dark......I think it is time that the citizens get to decide Aldermen's pay, then maybe they would work for a living.

  • I just had this problem as well. I did the seeclickfix thing and it still took them almost 3 weeks to do anything about it.

  • What kind of gangs?
