The boy’s father, 26-year-old James Jenkins, was charged and ordered held on $500,00 bond Sunday for owning the gun that either the 3-year-old or a sibling accidentally discharged at a home in the 4300 block of West Monroe, prosecutors said.

A 14-year-old boy was in the 1100 block of North Leclaire at 2:52 p.m. when two males approached him, police said. One of the males was armed and fired shots at the boy, striking him in the back. The two then got in to a dark Infiniti and drove off, police said.

The 16-year-old was talking to friends on the sidewalk in the 2200 block of South Marshall a few minutes before 6 a.m. when two people walked up, shouted gang slogans and opened fire, police said.

Quentin Graham, 40, was sitting on a porch in the 800 block of West 50th Place when a light-colored vehicle pulled up, police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office said. As the man walked up to the vehicle, someone inside fired shots, striking him in the chest, police said.

Graham, of the 700 block of West 50th Place, was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:29 a.m., the medical examiner’s office said.

The men were inside the lounge in the 8300 block of South Halsted about 2:40 a.m. Sunday when someone inside a passing vehicle fired shots into the club, police said.

The three were at a backyard party in the 5000 block of West Potomac about 2 a.m. when someone came out of an alley and fired multiple shots, police said.

Andre Byrd, 33, was shot in the torso and pronounced dead at the scene at 2:15 a.m., according to police and the medical examiner’s office. Byrd lived in the 200 block of North Kolin, authorities said.

will50 building imspectors

Here is a fellow that replied to me that he doesn't care what I think. That was obvious from his first post and ok with me as well. We defeat the ignorant by living well . Has will50 really done his research ? Is he aware that the building in question was in court. Further is he aware the city did want that building demolished. The inspectors do not have that power. That power comes from a judge and if...

That power comes from a judge and if the judge doesn't issue the order it doesn't happen. Throwing around comments about people Taking money was not well researched either. Chicago probably has one of the most watched by federal government agencies in the nation keeping them honest whether by choice or forces to be that way that's the way it is. So negative. Hope your life gets better will50. I'm sure you will have something Ryde to say to me. Have at it make yourself feel good. I have talked way more than I have cared to you will get no more responses from me
